A foot of snow

This is the story of the Christmas truce during World War I. It's amazing what the spirit of Christmas can do. A neat story, but maybe not so interesting for younger kids. The older boys asked a lot of questions.

The title of this post is because that is what we got today, after I had already shoveled the driveway and walks three times in the last week. At one point today, it started hailing as well. And it's so cold, when I go out to shovel, my fingers freeze inside my gloves. Can somebody get ahold of Al Gore for me? He has some splaining to do.
