We always read this book on Caleb's birthday. Cute story about everything going wrong on the night BEFORE the night before Christmas.Caleb has an AWESOME birthday -- the day before Christmas Eve. What could be cooler than that? He has never had to go to school on his birthday, and it makes waiting for Christmas a whole lot easier! And today he turned 10, so it was the best birthday ever. He got the Rayman Raving Rabbids video game he wanted, and a digital camera as a surprise. He LOVES taking pictures.
Caleb asked me to make an orange cake with blue frosting, and it was quite a sight! He invited cousins over for dinner, cake & his favorite vanilla bean ice cream, lots of fun, and a sleepover. Tomorrow we'll be having a big Christmas Eve breakfast, with the menu picked by the birthday boy. Happy Birthday, Caleb! You are a super great kid. You are smart, funny, fun, and good at so many things. I am so lucky to be your mom!
This is the first year Luke has really started to understand birthdays. He kept saying, "Mom! It's a birthday party! It's a birthday party!" Imagine how excited he'll be when it is his birthday on Saturday. :)
