"Peace, Be Still" by Arnold Friberg is one my favorite paintings. I have it hanging in my bedroom.
Today I saw Luke just staring at it. After a while, he said, "Mom?" I said, "Yes, Luke?" and waited for his response, perhaps some spiritual, wise-beyond-his-years comment.
What did he really say? "Mom, I LIKE those pirates!"
